- Invests at least 80% of net assets in municipal debt securities exempt from federal income taxes. Seeks to generate current income and long-term capital appreciation. The advisor selects securities through total return scenario analysis, sector analysis, new issue credit analysis, trading, and surveillance. At least 65% of net assets are in investment grade securities, with up to 35% in below investment grade or unrated securities. May also invest in derivatives.
