1. Acceptance

Using Beacon (beaconscreener.com) means you accept these terms. If any of them do not work for you, please do not use the site.

2. Description of Service

Beacon sorts exchange-traded funds by what you are trying to do with your money. It shows public market data alongside classifications our own software produces.

3. Not Financial Advice

Beacon gives no investment, financial, trading or other professional advice.

We are not a licensed or regulated investment firm, in any country. Nothing you see here is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell anything.

Take what Beacon shows you as a starting point for your own research. If you want advice on your own situation, talk to a qualified adviser.

Past performance tells you nothing certain about future returns. Every investment carries risk, and you can lose money.

4. Data Accuracy

We work hard to keep the data right and current, but we cannot guarantee it is complete or accurate. Market data comes from outside providers and can arrive late or wrong.

Our classifications come from AI models reading fund documents. They get things wrong sometimes and may not match how a fund invests. Before you act on anything, check the fund's own paperwork (prospectus, KIID/KID).

5. Limitation of Liability

As far as the law allows, neither Beacon nor its operator is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, or from not being able to use it. That covers losses on investment decisions you made after reading something here.

Some liability cannot be signed away, and we are not trying to: nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude.

6. Intellectual Property

The Beacon name, logo, design and original content (our articles, our classifications, our scores) belong to the operator. You need written permission before reproducing, distributing or building on them.

Fund names, ticker symbols and fund data belong to whoever owns them.

7. Acceptable Use

Please don't:

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download our data beyond normal browsing
• Try to break or overload the infrastructure
• Use the site for anything unlawful
• Resell or commercially redistribute our data without asking us first

8. Service Availability

Beacon comes "as is" and "as available." It is a small independent site, so expect the occasional outage and the occasional bug. We can change, pause or shut down any part of it at any time.

9. Governing Law

Beacon is operated from France, so French law governs these terms and disputes go to the French courts. If you are a consumer, you can also bring a case where you live.

10. Changes

These terms change from time to time. When something material changes, we post a notice on the site at least 30 days before it takes effect. Keep using Beacon after that date and you have accepted the new version.
