By accessing or using Beacon (beaconscreener.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Beacon is a free ETF screener that organizes exchange-traded funds by investor goals. The service displays publicly available financial data and classifications generated by automated algorithms.

3. Not Financial Advice

Beacon does not provide investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other kind of professional advice.

Beacon is not a registered investment service provider (prestataire de services d'investissement) under French law and is not regulated by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). The information displayed does not constitute a solicitation or offer to buy or sell financial instruments.

The information displayed on Beacon is for informational and educational purposes only. It should not be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Always do your own research and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

Past performance is not indicative of future results. All investments involve risk, including the possible loss of principal.

4. Data Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but we make no warranties regarding the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the data displayed. Financial data is sourced from third-party providers and may contain errors or delays.

ETF classifications are generated by AI models and may not perfectly reflect the actual investment strategy of a fund. Always verify information with official fund documentation (prospectus, KIID/KID).

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Beacon and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under French law.

This includes, without limitation, any losses resulting from investment decisions made based on information displayed on Beacon.

6. Intellectual Property

The Beacon name, logo, design, and original content (articles, classifications, scores) are the property of the operator. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

ETF names, ticker symbols, and fund data remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from Beacon beyond normal browsing
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the service infrastructure
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute Beacon data commercially without permission

8. Service Availability

Beacon is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. In accordance with applicable consumer protection rules, any dispute may be brought before the competent courts of France. Consumer users may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence in accordance with Article R631-3 of the French Consumer Code.

10. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have the right to resort to a consumer mediator free of charge in the event of a dispute. The competent mediator will be communicated once designated. You may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the website at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
