Objective: Seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the Wahed Shariah Alternative Income Index.
Strategy: Invests primarily in instruments in the Wahed Shariah Alternative Income Index, which consists of long positions in U.S. equity securities that meet Shariah requirements. The Index excludes companies involved in non-permissible activities and dividend-paying stocks. The Fund may create synthetic short positions using FLEX options to generate income. It may also invest up to 20% in compatible instruments not included in the Index. The Index is provided by MerQube and includes 25 securities with an average market cap of $238 billion.
