Objective: Seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the performance of the Syntax Defined Volatility XLB Index.
Strategy: Invests primarily in financial instruments to achieve investment results of the Syntax Defined Volatility XLB Index, a rules-based strategy tracking the net asset value of large-cap U.S. materials sector companies. The Index adjusts exposure to the State Street® Materials Select Sector SPDR® ETF based on a targeted annual volatility rate of 30%. The Fund increases exposure via total return swaps when short-term volatility is lower than the Defined Volatility Rate and decreases exposure to a Cash Position when it is higher.
