Objective: Seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the performance of the Syntax Defined Volatility XLY Index.
Strategy: Invests primarily in financial instruments to achieve investment results of the Syntax Defined Volatility XLY Index, a rules-based strategy tracking large-cap U.S. consumer discretionary securities. The Index adjusts exposure to the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF based on a targeted annual volatility rate of 25%. The Fund will increase exposure via total return swaps when short-term volatility is lower than the Defined Volatility Rate and decrease exposure to a Cash Position when it is higher.
